…just a short one…there ain’t much to tell ya after coming home from touring 2 weeks ago. i spent most of the time locked inside my studio working down a masive MASTERING LIST for getting all new releases ready for the next weeks out on my labels.
apart from that i had bad licensing issues with a german beer-brand that used the INTRO theme for their commercials on TV. so they thought they got the ultimate rights of the original recording and forced me to take INTRO off beatport.
well…to cut a long story short: my lawyers kicked their asses and I am now entitled to damages….fuck ya…assholes!!!! When i had to take it off the shop INTRO was number 1 on beatport….so it’s actually not only a loss of money but mainly REPUTATION!!! it sucks…..
received tons of bookings from abroad but reject most of it. i’m really tired and wanna stay in europe for at least 5 months. next mexico/usa/canada tour starts in august. need to recover till then…
